But on windy days, the lights were set off a lot and then the lights stayed on for a long time. Fiddled, fiddled, fiddled till I am so fed up with them. I want to reset it again but not sure if the knob is at the right position to start. Googled but no online manual.

If anyone could help, appreciate it. Take both knobs to test position (sensitivity and time). Higher the sensitivity - more likely for it to switch on a windy day.
