When I try the in-game updater it says I've got the most recent version installed.

I can't find any update to version 07.5 either. Since I can now consistantly beat the computer on the hardest setting in regular RoN and with the lack of multiplayer games there, I really wish to play the expansion and I have no clue why I cannot join and/or host games in the expansion pack. I even use the same host and client port in both games!

Try reinstalling the game so that you can try and get the patch. Normally it will ask to install the patch the very FIRST time you click multiplayer gamespy. If this doesn't work you might be able to download the patch manually (although this option would be much more difficult) either by checking out our download section, or the microsoft RON website T&P, or big huge games website.
